I love Friday's. Beside the fact that I normally relax most of Friday, I also get to bring you a ton of comic and other art stuff. Besides today's c7 strip, you can also vote for comet 7 to see this neat shadowy octopi drawing.
Yesterday I said that I would show you the finished vote incentive doodle that I was working on today. Too bad it ended up looking like total poops, I was never really able to get it exactly how I wanted, hence why you get these neat ock vote incentive drawing instead.
In addition to that stuff you can also swing by kristy vs. the zombie army to check out the newest update, which, in my humble opinion, is pretty dang slick.
If you are in a part of the world that celebrates today as a holiday, have a safe one, don't blow any appendages off, and I'll see you Monday.

Today's comic is about maturity. This comic can apply to everyone I think, regardless of age, because we all, at one point or another, feel this way I believe.
Today's vote incentive drawing is the start of a second skeleton-robot with octopi pal. Just doodling mostly, warming up you know? I will finish this guy off tomorrow with lots of neat shadows and such, so check back then and lemme know what you think.

I like waking up early and getting a nice fresh start on the day. Even though I'm a little more tired, and maybe I yawn a bit on occasion, my overall energy level feels a ton better. Also, welcome to July!
I started up a neato doodle for today, one that I think is going to turn out pretty radical. It's a cute little skeleton headed robot with an octopi on it's shoulder. That is just about everything in the world I like summed up into one tiny drawing. Click right here to vote for comet 7 on the buzz and then after you take a look let me know what you think.
I will post up the finished version tomorrow yea?

As you can see from this comic, I only advocate kicking animals in certain situations.
Being Friday, and we all like Friday, don't forget to swing by and check out today's kristy vs. the zombie army update. It turned out pretty slick I think. I am trying a new style of working with dark area, and while not perfect, I like how it turned out regardless...
Speaking of that new way of working with shadow areas, you can see one of the drawings where I was playing with the technique earlier in the week by clicking right here to see today's vote incentive drawing. I quite a bit like this too. It's like a little skeleton robot thing yea? A perfect mixture!

I think most of us can identify with an ex that was possibily related to the devil. Relationships can be really hard work, more work than they are worth sometimes, and a lot of time people try to hang on for way longer than they are worth.
Today's vote incentive is of a weird vampire monster nosferatu guy. I've been experimenting with black space and shadow again and this is what I doodled out. Not to shabby, but coloring this way is a lot different than I normally work, so there is a lot of room for improvement.

I don't like coffee. I don't really like beer or alcohol either. I'm not a big fan of most natural teas. I also don't drink soda because it's not good for you, but it is tasty. Same with kool-aid. Water, the occasional sports drink and stuff like crystal light for me please.
And last up for today I have the third, and I think last, piece added to the robot picture that I've worked on the last couple of days. Click right here to see all three monsters chilling out. This robot feels kinda squished in there, but I didn't feel like doing a flying robot, so he got the skinny spider legs. Robots destroy all humans?

Phew it's early. I stayed up too late and woke up too early this morning. And I have a full day, well, atleast a full morning, before I can settle down and rest a bit. It's important to be nice to your body and rest kids!
The background in today's comic makes me happy by the way.
Yesterday I had a little doodle of short grill-faced monster. Today I'm adding onto that pic, with a taller robot that you can see by clicking right here to vote. This second robot is part of the same pic from yesterday, I just added onto it. Check it out yea?

So there seems to be quite a few more Batman (the Dark Knight) fans than Hellboy 2 fans. I mean, in this thread it is required that you pick only one... but for my money, even though I loved Batman Begins, I really got into Hellboy. What about you?
I have watched the first three Saw movies, I watched the third one last night. I have no idea why though, all of the movies stink like poop.
When you vote for comet 7 today, you'll see a little picture of a robot I did this morning. It doesn't have any arms, but it looks like it is doing okay for itself.

Welcome to Friday. A rather muggy and stuffy Friday in my part of the world, but one that is filled with two comic updates from yours truly. First up is the comet 7 above and secondly is a little bit of kristy vs. the zombie army.
Today's vote incentive sketch is militant looking future war bunny. In the future the entire universe will be torn asunder by war (apparently) and even the bunnies will be angry and packing heat. So you should click right here to vote and take a look.
Thanks for reading and see you cats with a new comic on Monday!

Nice n' clean, happy, brand new sheets and comforters make sleeping so much nicer. It's kind of crazy to me how some people let their stuff go before they wash it. Buncha weirdo's if you ask me!
When you vote vote vote for comet 7 today you'll see a little robot sketch I did. Well technically the robot is pretty huge, but the sketch itself is pretty small. I wouldn't mind having a robot pal like this around to help me trim really tall trees... or do other stuff that you'd need a really big robot for.

I can say from experience, I have had many, many bruises "pressed" in my lifetime. It's a weird game around the house for sure, but there has been lots of "I see a button!" followed by a few "boop" and "beep" noises, which then generally progresses into some kind of wrestling match.
I've got another comet 7 character sketch vote incentive for you today. This one is a little pic of Mav... and I will be 100% honest with you, it turned out super cute. I think you will like it too. So click the big raging Steve picture to the right of this news update and vote it up.

My eye is bleeding. It really is, not so bad anymore, but the big ole cut I have on it, well, that was bleeding. I woke myself up twice last night from rubbing my eye, because when I touched it, it hurt a lot. I'll take a pic and post it up in the picture thread on the forum today.
Steve the water cooler doing a flying kick (or maybe a dragon punch?). That is what you will see when you click this happy time link and vote for comet 7. You should do it everday, I mean we are BFF right?

It has been raining and raining (and more raining) in my part of the world lately. People are getting flooded out of their homes and huge rainstorms are a daily occurence for the last few weeks. I've been fortunate so far that my neighborhood hasn't been that severly effected. Hopefully it stays that way.
I have a comic for you today about a certain part of the male anatomy. Shirts or skins? Surely I will choose shirts!
I don't doodle up the c7 characters as much as maybe I should. So today (and last Friday) I am trying to remedy that. When you vote for comet 7 today you will get to see a little Ramen sketch I did this morning. I like to do a drawing a day to limber me up and "get me in mood" as it were for the day ahead.

THE LACTATER! That's the name of today's comic. I find it to be 100% accurate as well.
I just started up a new book (or chapter if you don't want to be as stylish) over at my other comic, kristy vs. the zombie army. If you've glanced over the comic before, but never really read it, now is a great time to start. I've really come a long way with the art and the story telling (check out the beginning of the comic and where it is now, woo!) so if you haven't visited in a while... well... you know, check it out!
I don't feel that you have had enough milky nipples for today. That is why today's comet 7 vote incentive drawing will hopefully help you meet your quota.

Today's comic is about breasts. Which normally is a pretty exciting subject for me. Sadly it is about men's breasts... mens lactating breasts in fact, which makes the entire boobs thing quite a bit less exciting.
That is life I suppose.
I like drawing airships, quite a bit in fact. Though I haven't drawn them much lately, more on a robot kick I think. Anywho, whne you vote for comet 7 today over at the buzz you'll get to see a little airship doodle I did this morning. Pretty cute if you ask me. Looks like a place I wouldn't mind visiting.

I fought an alien yesterday. He was hanging out in the studio making crazy faces at me. I will not spoil the outcome so you can check it out yourself by clicking right here.
When you vote for comet 7 today you get to see the finished drawing of the little girl with the pet squid doodle from yesterday. Turned out pretty cute I think. I want a squid for a pet now. :(

If any of you have hung around the post your pictures thread on the forum you might be familar with the inspiration for today's comic. I've been known to, on occasion post pictures of myself wearing a certain blue... cape. Some may call it a blanket or perhaps a comforter, but they would be wrong. Clearly it is a cape.
I don't really know if squids make good pets or not, I'd like to think they do though. Regardless of what convetinonal knowledge tells us about what pets are good or bad, the vote incentive drawing for today is clearly showing that they make great pets. And they make pet owners very happy.
I will finish up this doodle and post the full one tomorrow in the AM... but for now vote!

Today's comic is one of those strips where it worked out really well in my head when I was thinking about it... but I just couldn't execute it the same way I envisioned it. Either way, I got to draw a Friday The 13th mask, so it's not too shabby.
Today is also the final page of the current kristy vs. the zombie army storyline. I'm really happy how this chapter ended up turning out, so hopefully you'll swing by and take a look. If you've never read zombie army before, I'd suggest starting at the beginning of the last chapter, and working your way from there.
I never ate weird stuff when I was a little kid. I'm not sure why, maybe I was just raised the right way... but seriously now, who lets their kid eat 30 magnets?
I am really feeling today's vote incentive drawing. I can't help it... I like robots and I like dark outlines with glowing eyes. It's what makes me happy!

We added some crazy topics to the forum yesterday, you should swing by and check them out. Especially if you are a fan of magnets (especially magnets that look like delicious candy).
The vote incentive drawing for today is just a little character design doodle. I like making rectangular shaped heads, and while it works good for robots, which I draw often, it doesn't always work as well for human type shapes. Hence today's drawing, didn't turn out too shabby.
Also... I LOVE today's strip!

Sometimes you have to learn your lesson the hardway... like Mav in today's comic for example. Be careful what you shove in your mouth kids!
I did not sleep well last night. My body is broke down and beat up. Today's vote incentive drawing is a weird kind of platformer game world. It looks like some horrible maze dream world, not really a place I'd like to spend my afternoon I don't think.
I have a lot of work to do, which means I will be on the computer machine a lot, which means in turn I'll be on the forum quite a bit. Post some interesting things for me to read!

In addition to your normally scheduled c7 comic, I also have a little guest comic that I did for gaming webcomic dueling analogs which you can check out right here. The comic turned out pretty good, if a bit lowbrow... just like me!
I like little tiny spacemen who find themselves on a world, maybe one very similar to ours perhaps, and they are trying to make contact for the very first time. It would be a daunting and scary adventure I'd guess, and at first, it would look very close to something like this. Atleast that's how I would see myself getting the attention of a person who was about five times bigger than myself.
Vote for comet 7 and take a look at the little space man doodle!

Welcome to another groggy eye-straining Monday morning. We are all back in school, work, or whatever other mind numbing thing we do the beginning of the week.
The good news is some comet 7 comicry for your addled mind.
You know, I haven't seen the new Indiana Jones movie yet. I'm in no real hurry to honestly, despite loving the original movies. I'll catch it eventually, don't get me wrong. Either way, today's c7 vote incentive drawing is a bit of Indy adventure themed artwork. I think it turned out pretty cute for a quick sketch, with a good amount of feeling. So vote and check it out!

Not all practical jokes go as planned. Perhaps an alternative use for the bee hive would've been appropiate?
So apparently some of the cats on the c7 forums are really digging the Warhammer MMO beta. Personally I'm not sold on anything that Games Workshop does due to their horrible business practices. It's just not the type of company I can support anymore.

But Mav isn't wearing any pants! Well, I suppose he's not, but lets not get hung up on details shall we.
My studio is an absolute mess lately. I need to spend a couple hours and arrange and clean and straigthen... but I'm so lazy. I am making lots of art for you all to check out this week though, so atleast it's not like I'm just sitting around playing Final Fantasy Crisis Core, which is what I'd prefer to be doing I think.
The Final Fantasy games have such amazing music, I'm sure some of it is nostalgia talking, considering I've literally grown up with the series, but man, some of the tunes really hit the right spot for me.

Weather is one of those things that it is absolutely no problem to deal with, as long as you are able to get away from it when you are ready. I don't care how hot or cold it is outside, if you have a nice climate controlled house to sneak away into, I can deal with anything. The problem comes when it's hot, icky, and humid inside your home as well. That's when it gets a bit too much for me to tolerate.
I made a nice thread for you today. Well, maybe I wouldn't say nice... perhaps a bit odd. But it has animated gifs and pictures for you, so I think that makes it pretty neat. Point your browser in this direction but make sure to bring your Gatorade.

Depending on where in the world you live, you might be enjoying a nice happy holiday today. Some time off, some cooking outside, a little visiting with family, nothing wrong with that yea?
I slept funny and have a really bad cramp in my back... which is nothing like a holiday. More like getting stabbed.
When you vote for comet 7 today (which you do everyday right?) you get to see a little picture of the grim reaper strolling through the woods. He's just out, enjoying the day, taking time to "stop and smell the roses" as it were.
Something we all need to do more often in my honest opinion.

Eeek! Late update today, well, only about an hour late, but that is late for me. I just kept laying in the bed and I really didn't want to get up. It didn't feel right. Getting up I mean.
I make another comic, most of you probably know this, but it's updated every Friday and it's called kristy vs. the zombie army and it's pretty neat. I think you should go check it out. The story is at a pretty crazy part too, so you might want to start from the beginning, or atleast the beginning of the newest book (artsy-fartsy name for chapter).
This guy kinda looks like one of my steam punk aliens that I was drawing earlier this week... combined with a Ghostbuster, which, IMO, is not a bad mix. Just a quick five minute morning doodle you know? Click your mouse right here to vote for c7 and check it out.

Have you ever seen that show Jon & Kate Plus 8? It's a show about a family that has eight kids... all under the age of seven. Six of the kids are like four years old. Watching the show is completely mind boggling. I work with kids, and it would be like teaching a childrens class... every hour of your life. The mental fortitude of these people is amazing. Eight kids... that is nine more kids than I think I could handle.
Today's comic is must certainly another comic that I can identify with. I suppose you could say that I've been known to talk a little crazy on occasion, so the look that Nacey has throughout this comic, it's one I'm familar with.
Another doodle of the weird candle head people. That's about all I can really tell you about them. One is tall, one is short, and they both have little burning wicks on their heads. I like 'em though. Click here to vote for comet 7 and take a look, but don't set your head on fire.
